April 8–12, 2019, ATOMTEX took part in a technical meeting on advances in emergency preparedness and response to nuclear and radiological accidents and incidents. The event was held in Vienna (Austria) and hosted by the International Atomic Energy Agency. ATOMTEX has developed considerable experience in the development and production of equipment for severe accidents management. Many areas of development of our company were once initiated in order to solve various problems of radiation monitoring after the Chernobyl NPP accident.
During the report, ATOMTEX presented unique solutions widely used in recovery from an accident at the Fukushima NPP, such as the AT6101DR field spectrometer and the AT6104DM underwater spectrometer used for in-situ radiation monitoring, AT1320C gamma radiometer. The latest developments were also presented, including the newest line of detection units, equipment for radiation survey on board unmanned aerial vehicles, АТ6103 Mobile radiation scanning system, AT2533 wide-range emergency dosimeter, a training simulator based on the "SIMRAD" hardware-software complex to imitate radioactive sources and pollution and much more.
